Headache can be caused by many different conditions and must be carefully differentiated. According to one anatomy report from Maryland University U.S.A.; tension in the suboccipital muscle group directly stress the dura mater of the brain and cause headache. In addition, tension in the jaw; degrenerative changes in the neck from repetitive work or from motor vehicle injuries can also cause headache.
